Facilities Manager

FULL-TIME POSITION

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and perform repairs and maintenance tasks within the church facility.

  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.

  • Handle basic repairs and installations as required.

  • Arrange for facilities repairs with outside vendors when needed. 

  • Maintain records of repairs, purchases, and completed tasks.

  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

  • Manage repairs and maintenance for church vehicles and equipment.

  • Manage and perform repairs and maintenance tasks on the church property, including but not limited to mowing and landscaping, snow removal, pressure washing, and pavilion upkeep.

  • Responsible for ensuring the church building is properly locked and unlocked, maintaining appropriate temperature settings, and scheduling parking lot lighting as needed.

  • Oversee and manage the Facility Assistant (create task lists, ensure tasks are completed effectively, etc.)

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Availability for a full-time schedule (Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm) and on-call during evenings, weekends, and special events.

  • Must pass a background check.

  • Must be a member of Grace Baptist Church.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proficiency in various repair techniques and tools.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus.

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
